Internship Opportunity: Furniture Maker

Tasks and Responsibilities

The selected intern will work closely with our experienced team of furniture makers and designers. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the design and production processes of furniture pieces.
• Using a variety of tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish parts.
• Assembly of furniture components and checking the quality of finished pieces.
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of materials.
• Keeping workspace clean and organized to ensure safety and productivity.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should be:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Design, Craftsmanship, or Woodworking.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of furniture making processes.
• Proficient in the use of woodworking machinery and tools.
• Detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Personal Requirements

As this position requires a great deal of precision, a potential candidate should be meticulous and have a keen eye for detail. The ability to visualize concepts and translate them into physical forms will also be beneficial.
