Job Description

The Film Studies Intern will be involved in several facets of film production and post-production processing. Tasks will include assisting in scriptwriting sessions, participating in pre-production meetings, undertaking research for upcoming projects, and supporting on-set operations. You will be actively learning about film-editing techniques and software, assisting with organization and storage of film materials, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies. Additionally, the intern will be encouraged to introduce innovative ideas for new projects or methodologies.

Job Requirements

The aspiring intern should be pursuing or have recently graduated with a degree in Film Studies or a related field. You must have a solid understanding of film theory and history, knowledge of cinema software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects, and an adaptable and proactive attitude. Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Swedish will be a significant plus. Experience in a media environment, either through previous internships or on-campus activities, is highly appreciated.
