Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our team in Tenerife. As a part of our dynamic group, you'll be responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in preparing and delivering learning plans, ensuring they are tailored to each student's needs. You will play an essential part in developing students' English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Additionally, you will monitor students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and assist in creating a positive learning environment. Furthermore, we'll rely on your assistance during the preparation of teaching materials, homework, tests, and exams.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English or a related field. A TEFL, CELTA or equivalent certification, along with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience is a must. Strong knowledge of the English grammar system and a native level of English proficiency are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to work well within a team. Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
