Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will support the lead teacher in delivering engaging and effective English language lessons. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of lesson plans.
  • Facilitating classroom activities focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Helping to create a motivating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students to enhance their understanding of the language.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Organizing language-related events and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborating with staff to develop tailored resources that cater to different learning styles.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Passion for education and intercultural exchange.
