Position: Education / Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting teachers and facilitating a positive learning environment for students. The assistant will work closely with educators to implement lesson plans, assist in classroom management, and offer one-on-one support to students as needed.

Tasks

  • Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and resources.
  • Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Work with small groups of students, offering individualized attention and instruction.
  • Help monitor student progress and participate in assessments.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as grading and organizing classroom materials.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
