Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will be primarily responsible for:

- Assisting our lead English teachers in preparing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Focusing on all aspects of language development including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Providing one-on-one assistance to students struggling with English
- Helping to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student-participation
- Correcting homework assignments, conducting assessments, and maintaining student records

Job Requirements

- Applicants should have at least a bachelor's degree in English language education or a related field
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification would be considered an asset
- At least one year of teaching experience, preferably in a classroom setting
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Spanish is preferable
- Able to interact professionally and effectively with students, parents, and staff
