Job Description

As an Education/Teaching Assistant, you will support our educators in delivering high-quality education while providing tailored assistance to students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in classroom management and instructional activities.
• Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Preparing classroom materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Supervising students during playtime, lunch, and other activities.
• Collaborating with teachers to create engaging lesson plans and adapting them as needed.
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the teaching staff.
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Personal and Professional Requirements

• Aptitude for working with children and a passion for education.
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a related educational role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Basic knowledge of educational best practices and child development principles.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
• Kind and patient demeanor with a focus on individual student needs.
