Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Education/Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers in delivering effective and engaging lessons. The assistant will work closely with students to aid their learning process, helping with lesson preparation and providing support to individual students or small groups. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implementing classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Preparing teaching materials and resources.
- Conducting assessments and recording progress.
- Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers about student needs.
- Participating in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
Personal Requirements
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
- Previous experience in teaching or child care settings.
- A degree or certification in education or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
