We are looking for a creative Visual Design Intern with great interest in modern web trends. You will take part in the important task of creating our overall visual communication across all our platforms, together with the rest of our design and marketing team.

We are a market leader in the bar-tending industry. With three global offices, we have trained over 50,000 bartenders from across the globe in the past 16 years. We maintain more than 20 websites and a variety of social media channels. Communicating through these channels requires a continuous flow of quality blogs, campaigns, emails, press releases, web pages and other relevant bartender content on a native level. 

Responsibilities:

Creative and able to call upon previous experience to operate with user experience, web design, campaign design, web banners, emails, mock-ups and wire-frames for a global corporate organisation.

Day-to-day tasks to complete:
- Create designs for social media (ads, posts and blogs)
- Create designs for specific campaigns (landing pages, emails and social media)
- Content for websites (images and illustrations)
- Localisation tasks (localisation of content across multiple languages)
- Interior designs for our schools
- Printing materials (brochures, flyers and expo materials)

Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of the following:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Indesign
- HTML/CSS
- UX/User Experience
- An impressive portfolio of projects that showcases your conceptual talents as well as your ability to deliver effective digital experiences.
- Experience and understanding of photography treatment.
- Understanding of and experience of corporate branding, layout, colour theory, accessibility and typography in both print and digital media, illustration, wire framing and scamping.
- A strong understanding of UX and usability, and more importantly conversion, most of the project we produce has the ultimate goal of getting users to fall in love with what we do, so you will often be asked to design  pages around specific call to actions.
- Experience with responsive web design.
- Comfortable creating visuals, mocks and layouts for digital campaigns.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial.
- You will need to bring your own laptop however you will be provided with a computer screen.
