Job Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom resources to enhance student learning.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing concepts covered in class.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers to inform instructional strategies.
- Encourage a positive learning environment by promoting respect, inclusion, and collaboration among students.
- Assist in organizing school events, extracurricular activities, and field trips.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Personal Requirements
- Possess a degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Catalan is an advantage.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to promoting respect, diversity, and inclusivity within the school community.
