Internship Vacancy: Reception / Reservations

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist the front desk team in managing daily operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and reservations through phone, email, and in-person, ensuring a seamless communication flow.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations and cancellations, while updating the booking system as necessary.
• Support the team in managing guest accounts and billing inquiries with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
• Participate in promotional activities and assist in implementing customer engagement strategies.
• Conduct periodic reports on customer satisfaction and assist in devising improvement plans.

Job and Personal Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Hospitality, Business, or similar).
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and any additional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for customer service.
• Basic knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a willingness to learn.
