French Teaching Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate French Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school in the vibrant city of Alicante, Spain. Our school is committed to providing high-quality language education to students of all ages and backgrounds within a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering French language lessons, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Implement engaging activities that enhance students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Provide individual support to students, helping them with language practice and clarification of concepts.
• Help create teaching materials, including worksheets and multimedia resources, tailored to students’ needs.
• Assist in assessing students' progress through regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural events, to immerse students in the French language and culture.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold school standards.

Job and Personal Requirements

• Fluent in French (native or near-native proficiency) and proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• A degree in French language, education, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to varying learning styles.
