Position: Education/Teaching Assistant

Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to assist in creating, maintaining and encouraging an effective and stimulating learning environment for students. Key responsibilities will include:

• Offering assistance to teachers in planning and implementing daily lesson plans
• Providing crucial support to students during classroom activities
• Helping to develop social abilities and ensure student safety within the school environment
• Aiding in administrative duties, including grading student assignments and updating databases
• Participating in school meetings, parents’ evenings and extracurricular activities
• Working collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure the overall progress and well-being of pupils

Job Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant
• Ability to comprehend and implement the school's curriculum and policies
• Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
