Our partner is one of Europe's fastest-growing rental accommodation marketplaces, operating in the largest cities in Portugal, Spain, and Italy. Young professionals and students looking to rent a home are matched with accommodation providers, ranging from private real estate owners to large-scale residences and property managers. Through their innovative digital platform, tenants are able to request live video calls to their favorite accommodations or to send instant booking requests and just wait up to 24 hours for landlord confirmation. The live video calls happen in real-time between tenant and landlord, and the company's advisor will jump in the call when requested, for translation or explanatory purposes.

 

Internship Overview

Much more than an internship, a huge life experience!

Their Summer Internships take place from July to September, for a period of 12 to 14 weeks full-time, where you’ll experience a mix of activities within the areas of Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

A complete and rewarding internship program, where you’ll be able to go through multiple tasks and focus on concrete achievements with a lot of sales power and bonus per deal! 

You'll gain practical skills in management, communication, and negotiation, with a great focus on results. Having substantial autonomy and a direct Team Leader by your side, you’ll rapidly start feeling progress and noticing the results of your own work.

 

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the performance of their Key Accounts and work with leading property managers across Europe.

You will be in charge of finding new leads through their current lead generation channels and identifying new channels and practices.

You will be responsible for responding to tenants and inquiries in a timely manner to ensure a minimal response time and maximize conversion.

You will also need to perform meetings with landlords to close the deal and upsell. Most of the activities related to this area will take place over the phone or over video calls.

You will follow up via chat, phone, and email with prospective tenants and landlords until you close the booking. Persistence and having good written communication skills are essential!

You will perform after-booking operations to ensure a smooth process for both our tenants and the Key Accounts, which will make you interact with important actors in the market.

You will identify improvement points within the processes and discuss them with your Team Leader to implement changes driving higher performance of your accounts.

You will also have other tasks such as: supporting customers when using our platform, creating new listings, optimization of the current listings, performing translations, and other tasks that help grow our business.

 

Your profile

You fluently speak English and Spanish on a native level.

You are a student or recent graduate in the area of Business, Marketing, Economics, Communication, Tourism, Hospitality, or related studies.

You are results-driven, hardworking, and eager to learn. 

You have a strong appetite for sales and are not afraid to pick up the phone or make cold calls.

You are available on a full-time basis for at least 3 months.
