We now invite applications for an enthusiastic Intern to join our Furniture Making team in Lisbon, Portugal.

Job Description

The Furniture Making Intern will have hands-on experience in crafting high-quality furniture. You will work closely with our accomplished craftsmen and designers and delve deep into understanding materials, production processes, and quality control. You will also have the opportunity to engage in designing and conceptualizing new furniture pieces, assisting customer service teams, ensuring safety procedures, maintaining the workshop, and contributing to sustainable practices. This internship is structured as a learning opportunity; thus, you'll be part of essential meetings, development programmes, and mentorship sessions.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree such as Furniture Design, Carpentry, Interior Design, or any related fields. Strong understanding of various materials, especially wood, commonly used in furniture manufacturing, is highly appreciated. Proficiency in 3D design software will be considered an advantage. Ability to communicate effectively in English is necessary; knowledge of Portuguese will be a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for aesthetic design are key factors we are looking for in candidates.
