Internship Opportunity: Portuguese - English Translator in Evora, Portugal

A globally recognized and distinguished organization boasting diverse business interests across various sectors around the world seeks an ambitious and dedicated intern for the role of Portuguese-English Translator based in Evora, Portugal. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Translating various text types between English and Portuguese, focusing on the accurate rendition of both languages whilst considering cultural context.
  • Assisting with proofreading translated texts and reviewing them for errors.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as filing and document management.
  • Participation in meetings and correspondence with our international partners, offering interpreteur support where necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, or similar field.
  • Superior proficiency in English and Portuguese languages, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Openness to feedback and willingness to learn.

  • Solid problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong cultural understanding and the ability to adapt to different situations.
