Internship Opportunity: Event Management Intern - Coimbra, Portugal

We are currently offering an internship opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our events team based in Coimbra, Portugal.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordination & execution of diverse events.
  • Research market trends to propose innovative event concepts.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and secure contracts under the guidance of the management team.
  • Take part in on-site event management and troubleshoot any arising issues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team in promotional endeavors for events.
  • Assist in post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Maintain event databases and prepare regular status reports.

    • Qualifications & Personal Requirements:

  • A student or recent graduate in Events Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organization & planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
  • Previous experience in events planning or organization (optional, but desirable)
