Position: English Teaching Assistant

Job Description

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging English lessons.
• Support students with language exercises, group activities, and one-on-one tutoring.
• Facilitate conversation clubs and language practice sessions to enhance fluency.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources, ensuring they are tailored to student needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their language goals.
• Assist in creating a friendly and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in school events and activities to promote cultural exchange and teamwork.

Personal and Professional Requirements

• Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred; a passion for education is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, allowing for effective interaction with diverse students.
• Willingness to commit to a full academic year with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Relevant academic qualifications or certifications in English language teaching (CELTA, TESOL, etc.) are a plus.
