Job description

The successful candidate will assist our experienced teaching team in delivering a structured English language program to a variety of age groups and skill levels. Tasks will include helping prepare lesson plans, grading assignments, providing one-to-one tutoring, and promoting active learning in the classroom. The Teaching Assistant will also contribute to school events, such as cultural activities and language exchange programs. This is a full-time position with a dedicated reward structure.

Job requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as English, Linguistics or Education is required, along with a TEFL/TESOL certificate. Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is highly desirable. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of English grammar and pronunciation rules, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Additionally, he/she needs to demonstrate a basic awareness of teaching methodologies and pedagogical concepts.

Personal requirements

The ideal candidate should be patient, adaptable, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working well in a team as well as independently. A strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds is expected. The candidate must be proactive, reliable, and have a genuine passion for teaching. The ability to speak Italian is an advantage but not a requirement.
