The Academic Support & Admissions Intern plays a key operational role at iLA Academy, supporting both the
academic department and the student admissions journey.
This position sits at the intersection of education, student experience, communication and brand
representation within the luxury fashion education sector. The intern will assist in ensuring smooth academic
administration, high-quality student support and effective communication with prospective and enrolled
students.
The role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, creative and interested in fashion
education, student engagement and academic operations.
The successful candidate will actively uphold and promote the values and vision of iLA Academy.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Academic Support
• Update and manage the digital learning platform (lesson materials, timetables, student access)
• Create and manage student accounts and academic records
• Support communication to students regarding lessons, schedules and academic updates
• Direct student enquiries to the appropriate tutor or department
• Assist in updating and maintaining student documentation related to their course
• Support development, maintenance and review of course materials
• Prepare academic documentation, presentations and materials for internal and external use
• Assist with proofreading academic and institutional documents
• Support coordination of teaching staff calendars for recordings and online lessons
• Assist internal faculty coordination processes
2. Admissions & Student Journey Support
• Support the admissions team in following up prospective students
• Prepare and send admissions materials (brochures, enrolment documents, updates)
• Assist in organising and managing student orientation sessions
• Help maintain communication with prospective and enrolled students
• Support data collection and organisation of leads and enquiries
• Assist in planning and managing academic and promotional events such as: Open Days,

• Market & Institutional Awareness (Support Level)
o Assist in gathering and summarising market and student trend information
o Support research on education fairs, universities and potential partnerships
o Contribute to reports and internal summaries when requested
• Communication & Content Support
o Help source photos, articles and content to promote school activities
o Support creation of simple visual materials for newsletters, presentations and social media
o Assist with proofreading newsletters, prospectus and official communications
o Support updates to website content and key marketing documents when required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student data and institutional information
• Represent the Academy in a professional and brand-aligned manner
Qualifications
• Education:
Currently studying or recently graduated in BSc/BA in Marketing and Communication, Business
Administration, Education / Academic Administration or a related field; MSc/MA will be preferred
Language
Excellent written and spoken Italian and English (both required) (English is the official language of iLA)
Required skills:
Technical & Professional Skills
• Confident with digital tools and learning platforms
• Good working knowledge of:
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Canva and/or InDesign (basic level acceptable)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable working with data entry and documentation
• Interest in the luxury fashion and education sector
