Job Vacancy: French Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant language school in the heart of Parma, Italy. Our institution is committed to promoting language acquisition and cultural understanding through immersive educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging French lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
• Facilitate language practice sessions, including conversation clubs and cultural workshops.
• Provide one-on-one support to students struggling with specific language skills.
• Help create and prepare educational resources, including worksheets, presentations, and multimedia materials.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities that promote French culture, such as cooking classes, film nights, and traditional celebrations.
• Administer assessments and assist in the evaluation process of students’ performance.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in French, with a strong command of English (additional languages are a plus).
• A bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in a language setting, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse groups of students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic teaching environment.
• Passionate about language education and cultural exchange.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
