Job Vacancy: German Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic German Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant language school located in the beautiful city of Parma, Italy. Our school is committed to providing an immersive and enriching environment for students eager to learn foreign languages.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering engaging German language lessons, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Support students in their language acquisition process by facilitating conversation practice and group activities.
• Help manage classroom dynamics to promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Provide feedback and assistance with homework, assessments, and language projects.
• Organize and participate in cultural events to enhance students' understanding of German-speaking countries.
• Contribute to developing teaching materials and resources tailored to various learning styles.
• Regularly assess student progress and report findings to the lead teacher.

Job Requirements:

• Fluency in German (native or near-native proficiency) and excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Educational background in languages, linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring languages, preferably German.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and execution.
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching diverse student groups.
