Job Description

Spanish Teaching Assistant needed to contribute to our diversified language offerings. The role requires overseeing small group discussions, assisting in the preparation of instructional materials, providing tutoring to students, encouraging student participation, and recording student performance. He/She would also need to collaborate with our main Spanish teacher in lesson planning and curriculum development, to ensure a comprehensive teaching approach.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and delivery of Spanish language curriculum.
• Helping pupils improve their conversation skills through group discussions.
• Supporting the main Spanish teacher in administrative tasks related to teaching.
• Monitoring, recording, and assessing students' progress.
• Participating in educational events, workshops, and training.

Job and Personal Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Spanish Language Studies or closely related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or similar role would be advantageous.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to stay updated with newer teaching methods and technologies.
• Ability to work in teams and motivate students for better performance.
