Internship in Event Planning & Management - Genoa, Italy

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the event planning team in planning and managing events from start to finish according to requirements, clients' needs, and targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR professionals to promote and publicize events.
  • Conduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts before closing deals.
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on event day.
  • Prepare reports on event performance and suggestions for improvement.

Personal and Job Requirements

  • Current enrolment in related fields (e.g., PR, Marketing, Hospitality Management).
  • Impressive portfolio of previously managed successful events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events).
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office and event management software.
  • Familiarity with the latest event trends and best practices.
