Job Description

As an intern, you will participate actively in various projects related to Agricultural Engineering. You will assist in carrying out research, developing designs under guidance, implementing engineered solutions to agricultural problems, and attend high-level strategic meetings. The role also requires conducting field and lab experiments alongside drafting technical reports. You will work with a diverse team of experienced engineers, researchers, and farmers to embed engineering principles into agriculture.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be in their final year of an accredited program leading to a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or any related field. Possession of basic knowledge in utilizing CAD software, data analysis tools, and modeling is fundamental. Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in farming systems, water management, and environmental science, plus acquaintance with the latest trends and technologies in Agricultural Engineering.

Personal Requirements

The successful applicant should possess a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle complex assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Furthermore, you should be able to work in a team, be highly organized, and flexible to adapt to changing priorities. Cultural awareness and respect for diversity will be an added advantage.
