Based in Paris and Berlin, our collaborator is an international distributor and producer of bold, award-winning films.The founder has worked with prominent ground-breaking directors from early on in their careers and has produced over forty films to date. The majority of these films were selected for the main competitions in Cannes, Venice and Berlin, where they have received many major prizes, most notably the Venice Golden Lion and two Palme d’Ors.

Their international sales division distributes a catalogue composed of films unique for its artistic strength, with films that have an individual and distinctive cinematic language, and often daring content.

The number of staff has tripled in the past four years and continues to grow as it diversifies its activities (which include a cinema and gastronomy project in Berlin, and increasing its restoration of heritage works). At the forefront of arthouse cinema in Europe, they have an international, dynamic, and motivational workplace which offers its employees support, responsibility, and career progression. You will have the opportunity to work closely with films by some of Europe’s most exciting and accomplished directors.

Tareas

They are looking forward to welcome a colleague who is globally minded, result-oriented, with organizational skills, and have an interest in art-house cinema, to complete their team of twenty people, main tasks include:

  • Coordinating film marketing with graphic designers, trailer editors, talents, decision makers, printers, market staff for our booths in Unifrance, Berlin, Cannes, etc.
  • Assistance with the layout and design of press books, posters and other marketing elements.
  • Enhancing marketing materials for catalogue films.
  • Assisting with catalogue sales and suggesting ideas for retrospectives and collections.
  • Creating bonus material for films (interviews, behind-the-scenes content).
  • Managing and increasing activities on social media and the website.
  • Collecting and archiving press reviews and suggesting press quotes.
  • Participating in test screenings. 

Requisitos

  • Native or fully fluent English-speaker with excellent command of French and/or German.
  • Other languages are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-focused.
  • Passionate about cinema with a strong interest in marketing.
  • Creative and able to think outside the box.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in cloud-based applications (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and virtual workspaces.
  • Experienced in the film industry (a plus).
  • Flexible and proactive.

Condiciones

  • Monthly salary of 1200 euros (before taxes).
  • Gain oversight on various aspects of the company, including finance and production.
