Responsibilities

- Perform rigorous research to support our journalism initiatives.
- Assist with content creation and editing for our digital and print platforms.
- Conduct interviews and contribute to the scripting of engaging stories.
- Coordinate with the Communication team on social media engagement strategies.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, proofreading and preparation of briefs.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings and share innovative ideas.

Qualifications and Skills

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and French.
- Familiarity with digital journalism platforms and social media networks.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
