Job Description & Tasks:

As a Furniture Maker intern, you will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment. You will learn hands-on skills while getting an overview of the furniture making processes. Your tasks will include:

• Assisting in the design creation and updating product drawings
• Participating in furniture prototypes development and testing
• Handling furniture assembly and finishing tasks
• Contributing in quality checks of furniture before packaging and shipment
• Learning and implementing safety regulation as well as workplace ethics
• Collaborating directly with team members on projects and tasks
• Honing your skills in different woodworking machinery

Job Requirements:

The successful applicant should be currently enrolled in a Furniture design, Carpentry, Industrial Design or related field. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. The applicant should also possess:

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to think creatively
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items
