Financial accountant in a film distributor and producer in Berlin

Our collaborator is a small and international cultural company with business divisions in film, gastronomy and art. They have been producing and distributing bold and unique films since 1987. To date, they have produced forty films, which have been honoured with Golden Palms and Oscar nominations. They follow the same uncompromising quality standards in the catering industry.

They are looking for an accountant to strengthen their small (20p) international team in Berlin.

Tarefas

• You are responsible of the accountability (experience with candies and sesame are advantageous)
• Take care of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• You will take over the day-to-day business of financial, accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting.
• Control the internal processing and approval process as well as the account assignment of incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Carry out account reconciliations, bank bookings, accruals and cash management 
• Work in direct contact with our management, our project managers and our project assistants
• Act as a contact person for internal and external partners, in particular tax advice and auditing.
• Support the CFO and the project management in preparing financing and bank loan applications.

Requisitos

• The working languages are German and English, a full command of which is required. Other languages, in particular French and Italian, are an advantage.
• Practical experience in financial accounting and accounting.
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB/IFRS. Ideally also in the group accounting of an international company.
• Strong commercial knowledge.
• Geübter Umgang mit Candis, SESAM FIBU / (Lohn) von Vorteil.
• A passion for art & culture, a love of film and a challenging everyday work routine.

Condições

• 35€ /hour.
