Internship Position: Film Studies Intern

Tasks Description

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of tasks including:

• Assisting in research, planning, and pre-production stages of filmmaking.
• Observing and aiding in all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production processes.
• Providing assistance to the director, producer and other key production staff.
• Contributing to script development, location scouting, and talent sourcing.
• Assisting in editing and post-production, learning to use industry-standard software.

Job Requirements

Candidates should:

• Be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Film Studies or related degree.
• Possess a solid understanding of film theory and history.
• Demonstrate passion and creativity for all aspects of film.
• Be able to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
