Job Role: Communication/Journalism Intern

This part-time role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, offering meaningful projects with insightful feedback, coaching, and professional assignment supervision.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
• Support the production of engaging content for the company’s website and newsletter, involving researching, drafting, editing, and photo curating.
• Help in the development, distribution, and measurement of multi-media content to appeal to our global audience.
• Conduct media outreach and follow-up correspondence with journalists, influencers, and other media professionals.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new strategies for online content creation and promotion.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, PR, Journalism or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of the principles of SEO and experience with using social media platforms professionally.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly.
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) would be beneficial.
