Internship Position: Communication/Journalism Intern

Job Description

You will have the opportunity to learn, explore and contribute to multiple areas within communication and journalism. Your daily tasks will involve:

- Supporting the team in planning, developing and implementing PR strategies.
- Assisting in researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media.
- Collaborating with our team to produce and edit engaging written content for online and print publications.
- Coordinating and overseeing events ranging from interviews, photo-calls, and press conferences.
- Monitoring media coverage and reporting results to the team and management.

Job Requirements

We aspire to recruit an intern who is currently studying or has recently graduated in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies or a related field. Furthermore, the right candidate:

- Should have exceptional writing and verbal communication skills in both, Spanish and English.
- Should be comfortable using a variety of software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Must possess strong research skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Must be proactive, able to work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Personal Qualities Required

We want someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and has a genuine passion for storytelling. You need to be a hands-on individual who has a 'can do' attitude and a zeal for learning new things. The ability to work as part of a culturally diverse team will be key and having an interest in global issues is beneficial.
