Job Description

We are currently looking for a dynamic, passionate and dedicated Education/Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting the classroom teacher in planning and implementing learning experiences that cater to children's needs and interests, taking care of student safety and welfare, and contributing to the management of the classroom.

  • Assisting the teacher in creating lesson plans and materials
  • Working with small groups or individuals students under the direction of the teacher
  • Assisting with reading and writing tasks
  • Setting up equipment for lessons and tidying the classroom
  • Supporting students with special educational needs
  • Participating in school activities and parenting communication
  • Maintaining classroom discipline in accordance with the school philosophy

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be energetic, patient, and caring and have a passion for working with children.

  • Relevant qualifications and proven experience as an Education/Teaching Assistant
  • Excellent understanding of child development and learning principles
  • Fluent in Spanish with basic understanding of English
  • Proficiency in MS Office and educational software
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Strong communication, organisation and multitasking abilities
