Internship Opportunity in Interior Design

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations, collaborating with senior designers to refine ideas.
• Conduct market research on design trends, materials, and furniture to contribute to ongoing projects.
• Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and furniture selections based on client specifications.
• Participate in client meetings, taking notes and assisting with proposals and pitches.
• Help with space planning and drafting detailed floor plans using design software.
• Visit project sites to assess progress and gather information for project documentation.
• Support the administrative tasks of the design team, including inventory management and coordination of samples.

Job Requirements

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and materials.

Personal Requirements

• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to think critically and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
