Vacancy: German Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate German Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant language school located in the beautiful Tenerife, Spain. Our institution offers immersive language learning experiences, fostering communication skills and cultural understanding among students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging German language lessons for students of varying proficiency levels.
• Support lead teachers in creating a dynamic classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement.
• Provide one-on-one support and tutoring to students to enhance their understanding of German grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
• Facilitate language practice through conversational activities, games, and cultural discussions.
• Help develop and implement teaching materials and resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual learning outcomes.
• Support extracurricular activities and cultural events that promote the German language and culture.

Job Requirements:

• Native or near-native proficiency in German, with a strong command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Teaching experience or relevant educational background, such as a degree in German language, education, or linguistics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' varying needs and learning styles.
