Education/Teaching Assistant Vacancy in Tenerife, Spain

A dynamic and experienced Education/Teaching Assistant is required for our modern and progressive school based in the vibrant city of Tenerife, Spain.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Education / Teaching Assistant to support our well-qualified team of teachers to provide the best educational experience for our students. Main responsibilities will include providing key support to the teacher in implementing curriculums, supervising students inside and outside classrooms, preparing classroom materials, maintaining student records and facilitating communication between parents and teachers. In addition, you may be asked to assist students with special educational needs and to contribute to wider school activities.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must have a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification and be fluent in English and Spanish. You will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience in an educational setting, ideally in a multicultural environment. We require good ICT skills, the ability to adapt to the use of new technologies in the classroom and a proven capacity in working effectively as part of a team. Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.

You must have excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to professional development.
