Job Description

The Education / Teaching Assistant will work under the guidance of lead teachers to support student learning and enhance classroom experiences. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring curriculum standards are met.
• Supporting students with individual learning needs, including those with special educational requirements.
• Facilitating small group activities and assisting in classroom management.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers on student behavior and achievements.
• Preparing classroom materials and maintaining a tidy educational environment.
• Engaging with parents and caregivers to foster strong community ties and encourage student participation.
• Participating in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in education or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude toward students.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage but not essential.
