Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a critical role in aiding our teachers in creating an enriching academic environment. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the teacher in classroom preparation and clean up
• Assisting in delivering lessons and engaging students in learning activities
• Monitoring students’ progress, behavior and attendance
• Supporting Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development workshops

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or related role
• Proficient in both Spanish and English language
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, students, and parents
• Excellent organizational, communicational, and interpersonal skills
• Understanding and application of confidentiality and safeguarding protocols
