Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

Job Description

The successful candidate will assist our lead English language instructors in lesson preparation and implementation. This role involves working closely with students of varying ages and ability levels to help improve their English language skills. Our teaching assistants are encouraged to develop creative teaching methods and bring fresh ideas to the classroom.

Tasks

• Assisting the lead teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons.
• Tutoring students individually or in small groups.
• Providing support to students who need additional help with their coursework.
• Helping to maintain an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
• Assisting with administrative duties such as grading and record keeping.
• Participation in teachers' meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (native or C2 level proficiency).
• A bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a relevant field.
• Experience in teaching English is an advantage; candidate with TEFL/TESL/TESOL certification will be given preference.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• An ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Spanish language proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
