We are an established language school based in the beautiful city of Salamanca, Spain. Our school is dedicated to providing high-quality language education and cultural exchanges to students of all ages. We are currently seeking a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and driven team.
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to assist our lead teachers in providing engaging and interactive English language classes to our students. You will aid in developing lesson plans, assist in classroom management, contribute to the creation of engaging learning materials, and participate in school events and activities. You will also be responsible for supporting students during self-study periods and facilitating student progress observation alongside your designated lead teacher. Your role will contribute significantly to our mission of providing a conducive learning environment for mastering the English language.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree or above in English, Education, Linguistics, or a closely related field. Previous teaching experience, particularly in a language school setting, is highly desirable. In addition, the candidate should hold a TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certification. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be prepared to work as part of a team.
In addition to qualifications, we are looking for individuals who have a strong passion for teaching and language exchange. The successful candidate should be personable, energetic, and able to connect with students of different backgrounds and learning needs. You should be adaptable, patient, and open to learning different teaching styles and techniques. A basic understanding of Spanish language and culture would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
