Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

Tasks Description:

• Assist lead teachers in preparing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Facilitate small group conversations and language practice sessions to enhance fluency.
• Provide one-on-one support to students requiring extra help with speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Conduct engaging cultural workshops that introduce students to English-speaking countries’ cultures.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment while promoting student engagement.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to foster community among students.
• Assist in evaluating student progress through informal assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Job Requirements:

• A native or proficient English speaker with a solid grasp of grammar and vocabulary.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred, particularly in English as a second language.
• A relevant degree in English, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs.
