Position: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our language school located in the vibrant city of Murcia, Spain. Our institution is committed to providing high-quality language education to students of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a multicultural environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural exchange.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in preparing for lessons, including creating and organizing teaching materials.
• Support classroom activities by engaging students in interactive exercises and discussions.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional help with language comprehension.
• Facilitate small group sessions to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Participate in curriculum development and suggest innovative teaching strategies to improve student engagement.
• Help manage classroom dynamics by promoting a positive learning environment and addressing any behavioral issues.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, including language clubs and cultural events.

Personal Requirements:

• Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency in the English language.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Passion for teaching and facilitating language learning in diverse environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with students of various age groups.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings and with diverse learning styles.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a foreign language is a plus.
• A valid visa or work permit allowing employment in Spain is required.
