Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering English lessons, ensuring a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students, tailoring assistance to meet diverse language proficiency levels.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities and cultural events to promote language immersion and social engagement.
  • Help to create and distribute teaching materials, including worksheets, quizzes, and digital resources.
  • Facilitate conversation practice sessions to improve students' speaking and listening skills.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and participation.
  • Assist in administrative duties related to the language program and student records.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • A passion for teaching and a desire to engage with students in a positive manner.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm in lesson delivery.
