Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Education / Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in children's lives through education. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with and under the direct supervision of a qualified teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups and the whole class. Duties include: maintaining student records, developing learning materials, including adapting existing materials to meet the needs of individual students, and assisting the lead teacher in delivering lesson plans.

Other responsibilities will involve setting up learning environments, providing one-on-one assistance to students requiring additional support, and participating in school meetings and training sessions. Additionally, the candidate will support students during social and recreational activities, ensure class discipline, and help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. A previous experience as a teaching assistant and an advanced understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to communicate effectively with both students and colleagues. Applicants must possess a strong level of patience, flexibility, and understanding to handle the unique challenges that come with a diverse school population.
