Position: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school in the beautiful island of Lanzarote, Spain. Our institution offers a vibrant and supportive learning environment, focusing on enhancing students' language skills through tailored courses and engaging activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging English language lessons for diverse student groups.
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Facilitate conversation practice sessions to enhance students’ speaking and listening skills.
• Prepare educational materials and resources to aid in lesson delivery.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructors regarding individual student needs.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities to promote cultural exchange and student engagement.
• Help students with homework and assignments, reinforcing language concepts and improving comprehension skills.

Personal Requirements

• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A passion for teaching and supporting language learners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
• Experience in a teaching or tutoring role preferred but not required.
• Competence in using technology for educational purposes.
• Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity within the classroom.
