Job Vacancy: French Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic French Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school in Lanzarote, Spain. Our school is dedicated to providing high-quality language education in a supportive and engaging environment.

Tasks Description

• Assist lead teachers in delivering French language instruction to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
• Support classroom activities such as group discussions, role plays, and language games, fostering a lively learning atmosphere.
• Conduct small group or one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce language concepts and assist struggling students.
• Prepare educational materials and resources for lessons, ensuring they are up-to-date and engaging.
• Help assess student progress through informal assessments and provide feedback to both students and lead teachers.
• Participate in extracurricular cultural activities, promoting French language and culture within the school environment.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a language school setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly in Spanish or English.
• Organizational skills to manage resources and assist with classroom activities.
