Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic French Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering engaging French language lessons to students of various proficiency levels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with lead teachers to prepare and implement lesson plans.
  • Supporting students in the development of their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Facilitating group activities and discussions to enhance conversational skills.
  • Providing individualized support to students to address their specific challenges.
  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Participating in school events and cultural activities to enrich the student experience.

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in French and proficient in English (knowledge of Spanish is a plus).
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring languages, ideally in a classroom setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate students and encourage a love for the French language.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different learning styles.
  • A relevant degree or certification in teaching or languages is preferred.
