Job Description

The French Teaching Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience of our French language students. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons to students, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Preparing supplementary materials and resources to support the curriculum.
• Conducting individual and small group tutoring sessions for students needing extra help.
• Organizing and participating in cultural activities to promote language immersion.
• Providing constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
• Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in French and proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in a language learning setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
