Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

Main Responsibilities

- Supporting the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.
- Assisting students in comprehending subject topics, managing their homework, and preparing for exams.
- Helping the lead teacher in preparing teaching materials and aids, maintaining classroom discipline, and recording student progress.
- Adapting teaching methods to cater for the diverse learning styles and special needs of individual students.
- Participating in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.

Qualifications and Skills Required

- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Previous experience in a classroom environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish, both verbal and written. Proficiency in English and other languages would be a plus.
- Strong organisational, planning and multitasking skills.
- A patient and empathic demeanor, with the ability to motivate, engage and relate to students.
