Paid Sales Internship in the leading European boat rental platform in Barcelona, Spain (Italian Speakers)

Our collaborator is the leading European platform in the boat rental industry. Their mission is to make boating accessible worldwide while providing private and professional boat owners with an additional income stream. Since their inception in 2013, they have experienced significant growth, acquiring three companies across Spain, Germany, and France. In 2022, their expansion was further fueled by a major equity fund and the world’s largest boating marketplace.

Currently, they operate in more than 50 countries and 600 destinations, with a diverse team of 200 employees from 20 different nationalities. Their headquarters are located in Paris, on a barge moored on the Seine River, and they also have a second office in Barcelona, hosting around 100 employees.

Tarefas

• Assist Italian and international clients, understanding their needs and guiding them to secure the perfect boat.
• Maximize conversion rates by applying sales strategies and following clients through the entire booking process.
• Negotiate the best rates with international boat owners.
• Ensure full customer satisfaction throughout the process to foster client loyalty.
• Collaborate closely with the Supply, Customer Care, and Finance Operations teams.
• Work at least one Saturday per month, with a compensatory day off.

Requisitos

• Fluent English and native Italian; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities, particularly over the phone.
• Ability to work with booking systems and CRM software.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proactive and eager to contribute ideas to improve services.
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to inspire trust.
• Interest or background in boating is a plus.

Condições

Compensation

• Fixed gross stipend: €600-800 per month.
• Monthly performance-based bonus: €200 gross.

Availability and Hours

• Start dates: March 10th or May 12th, 2025.
• Duration: 4 to 8 months.
• Position: Full-time.
• Summer availability: Highly valued during June, July, and August.
• Career opportunity: Possibility of a permanent contract after summer.

Location

• Barcelona office in a modern coworking space in Poblenou, with a rooftop view of Sagrada Familia and a short walk to the beach.
